Tony Litt Tournament


Tournament Information

Each Bay-Lakes Area SAY season concludes with the Tony Litt Soccer Tournament. Teams in each age group qualify for this tournament by their final position in the standings. The number of teams that qualify depend on the number of teams in the division.

Who Was Tony Litt?
The late Anthony "Tony” Litt, III was one of the first Officers of The Bay Lakes Area Soccer Association for Youth. Tony held many offices in the organization including Area President.

Tony was extremely active in his community: he taught Social Studies, Economics and World History at Pulaski Community Schools, also serving as an Assistant Principal from 1992 – 1998. He coached the cheerleaders and dance team as well as directing the One-Act Play. He served on several committees and volunteered as a Forensics Judge and an FFA Judge (both local and national). Additionally, Tony was the Pulaski Community Pool Director from 1986 – 1999.

Tony was the recipient of many awards, including the Golden Apple Award, Pulaski Community School District Distinguished Employee Award, Herb Kohl Scholarship Winner, Pulaski Community School District Teacher of the Year and Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Economic Educator of the Year.

As a Charter Member of the Pulaski Area Jaycees, Tony served as Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and coordinated the Wisconsin Junior Miss Scholarship Program. He was also Santa Claus for the Hometown Pulaski Days. He volunteered for several service organizations and held professional memberships with the National Council for the Social Studies, Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) and Pulaski Education Association and Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
